It has been exactly one week since my procedure with Dr. Daniela Gomez, DDS, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. My experience with her began after a disappointing consultation with another dentist who recommended extracting the tooth, placing a bone graft, and ultimately replacing it with an implant—even though the tooth appeared potentially salvageable with a root canal. Before making such a permanent decision, I sought several additional opinions. The doctors I consulted agreed that while the root canal would be difficult, it was absolutely possible in the hands of an endodontist with the right expertise and experience. I spoke with several doctors, including Dr. Vivian Morad, DMD, who specifically assured me that Dr. Gomez was the right doctor to handle such a challenging case. What I appreciated most from the beginning was the amount of time Dr. Gomez took before the procedure. She thoroughly reviewed my imaging, explained what made the case difficult, discussed the risks, and made sure I understood what she would be attempting. At no point did I feel rushed. On the day of the procedure, I had begun experiencing significant pain in the tooth, adding another layer of complexity. Dr. Gomez handled everything exceptionally well. The procedure took nearly two hours. As a patient without a dental background, several things stood out to me: 1. Fresh imaging immediately before the procedure. She did not simply rely on imaging that had been taken several days earlier. 2. An impressive amount of specialized equipment. Even though her experience was obvious, I was equally impressed by her investment in technology and equipment that allowed her to verify the depth, positioning, and completeness of her work throughout the procedure. 3. Exceptional attention to protecting the patient. Beyond the equipment used to perform the root canal itself, I was impressed by the precautions taken to isolate the tooth, protect my surrounding teeth and mouth, and prevent exposure to the chemicals used during treatment. The Staff: I interacted with two members of Dr. Gomez’s staff, and both were genuinely exceptional. There is a level of attentiveness and meticulousness in this office that is difficult to fake. I was consistently addressed by my first name, and they remembered details and preferences from my previous visits. Betty, one of the administrators in the office, has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. I had several interactions with her before and after the procedure involving preparation, prescriptions, and follow-up. She strikes the perfect balance: extremely meticulous and organized while still being warm, personable, and caring. The Office: The office itself is exceptionally clean, and it is obvious that infection prevention and patient safety are taken seriously! Masks and protective shields are consistently used, sanitation stations are readily available, and the overall environment reflects a very high standard of cleanliness and professionalism. Overall: Dr. Gomez receives my highest recommendation. One week after the procedure, I am extremely encouraged by how well the tooth is doing and very grateful that I sought another opinion rather than immediately proceeding with an extraction and implant. Just as importantly, the entire experience—from the initial evaluation, to the procedure itself, to the staff and follow-up care—was meticulous, professional, and remarkably well organized. When you are dealing with a difficult tooth and trying to determine whether it can be saved, I highly recommend Dr. Gomez's expertise and practice.

Dr Daniela Gomez is personable. She greets you without the mask so that you know who she is before hand. She is thorough in explaining what is going to happen and answers additional questions, which made me comfortable. The local anesthesia was administered well, meaning when I left it was beginning to dissipate. I wasn’t so numb that I could not drink or talk. They provided my first dose of Tylenol before I left to be ready for ot to wear off completely. I recommend her - though I hope I don’t need another one any time soon😊

Dr. Gomez is an excellent Endodontist and a wonderful human being. My wife had a root canal done by Dr. Gomez today. Besides being painless, Dr. Gomez explained what she was going to do before each step. Her chairside assistant was also very competent. Watching those two work together was like a work of art…like a fine symphony. The team definitely inspired confidence. The clean office is very well set up with modern equipment. Root canals, two done. Compliments to Dr. Gomez for a painless procedure on both occasions. Zero pain or even discomfort afterwards (following 3 Advil provided by Betty both times.)
